Religious Event Catering

May 27, 2015 - Party Catering

Searching for great food in Walnut Creek? You came to the right blog because I have been searching for delicious food in this area for a while. Think of me as perpetually on the hunt for good food. And of course, isn’t the food even more mouthwatering when you don’t have to pay? While the Bay Area is more notorious for its cultured community, areas like Walnut Creek are also the stomping ground for a great host of religious community members. Luckily for us, accompanying every religious community are fantastic religious festivities augmented by superb and unique religious catering.

Indeed, religious festivities of all genres do actually exist in our own community. Yet alongside each of a myriad of religious gatherings is a phenomenal buffet of free food (who knew Walnut Creek was diverse?). Thus we arrive at religious catering, my best kept secret in the area. Whether it’s for Chinese New Year celebrations, my friend’s bar mitzvah festivities, or a nephew’s baptism party, I have had my fair share of experiences with religious catering here in the Walnut Creek area. And, thanks to this, my food connoisseur status has gone to the next level. Or at least I like to think so.

I can assure you that, if ever there was an area to be a connoisseur of, this is it! Pastries galore, free of charge, is what you’ll get when your friend’s church gets an Easter caterer to do their holiday meal. Do you want an unlimited supply of delicious dumplings? Look no further than your Chinese friend’s family who happens to have ordered a Chinese New Year caterer for their party. For me personally, however, Jewish catering is unmatched. Some of my fondest memories of free food have occurred when an acquaintance (okay, an acquaintance’s family) had the brilliant idea of getting bar mitzvahs catering.

Where is all this leading up to? To the catering company I’ve most frequently spotted at my friends’ religious celebrations: the Walnut Creek Catering Company. While my numerous relatives, friends, and acquaintances may collectively boast a wide variety of religious traditions, the Walnut Creek Catering Company can brag about the wide array of foods it brings to such events. Nothing whets my appetite at a loved one’s baptism like seeing that company’s truck arriving afterwards. And, while the family may have chosen Christian catering in order to better worship and praise the lord, I only begin celebrating when I see that some free food, courtesy of my extended family’s decision to order baptism catering, is on the way.

Now, you may say to yourself, “Wow, this person is such a moocher. How can they just go around taking advantage of free food at all these religious events?” Fear not! I’ve had the same thought myself. Many times, in fact. So, I finally decided that it was time for me to turn provider. The next time you see someone ordering holiday catering for a religious festival, that someone will be me. Of course, my friends and family are more devout than I am, but this doesn’t stop me from looking forward to Christmas and Easter parties every year. I can’t even begin to imagine how much I would enjoy Christmas catering at my place. So, next year, you’ll find me ordering some catering of my own rather than mooching. Why? Because this delicious secret of mine needs to be shared with everyone, and having my own religious catering events would be a promising start.
